Chief Steven McLean is a 40 year veteran of Law Enforcement with a Master’s degree in Criminal justice, A bachelor’s degree in Vocational Arts, an Administration of Justice degree from community college, and is a graduate of the National FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia. Chief Mclean spent his first 32 years in law enforcement as a member of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department where he retired as the Captain of the Alta Dena Sheriff’s Station. Prior to his assignment as Captain, Chief McLean worked as a lieutenant for more than 10 years. In his spare time Chief McLean like to spend time with his family and work out at the gym.
